It operates with a blowback method. The dual mass slide reduces the recoil for better control of the weapon. The safety lever is ambidextrous, which means it is available on both sides. The pistol grip is not detachable but has a nice texture to get hold of. The magazine release is ambidextrous too. It also has Picatinny rails with modular lock (M-LOK) on the top and bottom to mount optics and other accessories.
The iron sights are mounted on the Picatinny on the front and rear. These sights are flip up and down, which means you can also mount a red dot or any other sight of your choice if you are not comfortable with the iron sights. The Stribog also allows you to mount the suppressor of your choice.
